Textile waste represents an issue of enormous and growing global scale. The amount of discarded textiles has reached a staggering level and continues to increase rapidly.   

According to reports from multiple authoritative institutions, the total annual volume of textile waste generated worldwide ranges between 92 million and  150 million metric tons.  

A more alarming trend is that global textile waste is projected to reach 134 million metric tons per year by 2030. By 2050, this figure is expected to exceed 150 million metric tons—a volume that is both immense and unsustainable.
